The Burlington Bulls Senior OSBA team was formed in late 2004 by Mike Masters, Steve Atkinson, James Crawford and Cam McKnight. Since 2001, the Bulls and Bandits had been chief rivals in both the ICBL and SOBA’s. After 2002, most of the Bandits were overage for Junior SOBA’s. After 2004, most of the Bulls were also overage. The players from both teams still wanted to be involved in some weekend baseball, and being familiar with the OSBA through the 2004 Barrie Tournament, the Bulls and Bandits merged into the Burlington Bulls OSBA team. Their application went through in the off season and was accepted as the Bulls became the 10th team in OSBA.. On May 7th/2005 the Bulls began a new era of baseball in Burlington.
