History: The Barrie Brewers (new name as of 2007) came to OSBA in 2003. Their regular season record in 03/04 is unknown, but they did not make the playoffs. In 2005, the team was 9-16-1 and they again failed to make the playoffs. In 2006, the  team had it’s best season with a 12-13-1 record and a playoff appearance where they lost 2-1 against Oshawa. In 2007, Barrie had the worst record in OSBA with a 4-24 record.

History with Bulls : The Bulls and Barrie met in Burlington in 2005 with the Bulls winning Game 1 9-1 behind a McKnight CG and Game 2 7-3 behind an Eric Conlon cg win. In 2006, the Bulls travelled to Barrie and won 4-0 behind a Hayes CG win and tied Game 2 6-6. In 2007, the Bulls again went to Barrie and won game 1 12-0 behind a McKnight cg win and game 2 23-13 in a game Pitman started, Langford and Howden relieved and then Kip Keith eventually came on for the victory.
